Stella

Fostered near Norwich

Description

Stella is fostered near Norwich, she is an eight year old Dachshund cross.

Stella was initially rescued from the Radauti shelter in Romania around six years ago. She was adopted and has been very well loved and looked after for all of those years but has sadly had to be returned to our care recently due to a change in family circumstances which meant they could no longer look after her.

Stella can be a little timid of new people but has settled well into her foster home. Upon meeting new people she will bark and snap but within an hour of being in a new home she is friendly and loving towards them so anyone wanting to visit her will need to see past her initial fears. She is living happily with other dogs in her foster home but was not good with the dogs in a recent failed home attempt so any existing dogs need to be able to stand up to her. She has met cats on many occasions with no issues. Stella had a dental in 2018 and had 25 teeth removed so she is quite gummy but eats well and still happy to crunch on biscuits!

Stella travels well in a car and can be left home alone for a few hours with no issues. She is a sweet little girl that would like a quiet retirement home to live out her twilight years. The dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered (unless they are too young).
