Fidelity is a smallish crossbreed of around 5 years old.
We were asked to take Fidelity a few months ago to rehabilitate her as past traumas had left unable to trust humans and resistant to being touched.
A few months on and this brave girl has advanced enough in her rehabilitation to move into an understanding forever home. Here is what her fosterer says about her now…..
“Fidelity is a nervous girl who is yet to trust fully humans, but she is making progress in her foster home. She now readies herself for walks and doesn’t shy away from the lead. Fidelity loves her walks but can be spooked easily at the moment, so is being slowly introduced to walking with other people and around traffic. Good progress is being made here. She walks nicely on the lead but will pull for home if scared by something.
Fidelity gets on with the other dogs in her foster home, especially the old boy and shares a bed with the other foster dogs regularly. She can also be quite playful and likes toys. She is a very foodie dog and will now takes treats from your hand. She is clean and quiet in the house and now beginning to tolerate fuss, although is way off enjoying it. “
Fidelity is looking for a fairly quiet home with another more confident dog for company. In the coming months she will continue to grow in confidence but will need someone experienced with nervous dog to see her through to fully trusting those she loves and enjoying human affection.
Fidelity fostered Gorleston Norfolk.
Our adoption fee is £300, they are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered (unless the dog is too young to be neutered).
